Experiencia de clase

Students will learn how to tell if something will sink or float when put into water.  This will be a hands-on class, the student will bring items of their choice to class to test if it will sink or float.  I will teach by showing them what to do, then they will try to do it.  We will have a chart to fill out to mark if something sinks or floats.   This class will be an interactive class.  Students will guess if another student's item will sink or if they think it will float.  Together will we decide why it sinks or floats.

Hello! My name is Teacher Amy. I have a bachelor's degree and have been teaching children for over 10 years. My biggest passion is fitness, exercise, and health. I have taught Crossfit for over 4 years, as well as Crossfit kids class.  I am a certified Crossfit Kids instructor. Another passion I have in fitness is gymnastics.  I have been a preschool gymnastics director and instructor.  Keeping kids of all ages active is something that I truly believe is important, but most of all I want children to love exercise to continue staying fit for life.  I love helping children learn and exercise!  My goal is to teach children about fitness and how to do exercises correctly.  Working out can be fun!  I am also an ESL teacher, I have been teaching ESL for 4+ years.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy photography, reading, writing, and taking my kids to the park. In the summer I am happy to go to the pool. My favorite vacation is Disney World. I live with my husband, 3 kids, and a dog named Coco, in Tennessee!  I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!
