"There are some who can live without wild things and some who cannot." - Aldo Leopold This wildlife camp is for your wild thing at home! This camp will meet twice a week for two weeks and is fun and educational and for children who love nature and animals. Camp involves learning about animals, plants, animal-themed games, nature crafts, nature excursions, and more! Lessons are designed to captivate, engage and challenge young people, while building conservation knowledge and values. We'll learn about animals and the environment during class, then students will be encouraged to go outside and experience nature after class. Wildlife Camp is a fun way to learn about wildlife and instill a life-long respect for the environment. Campers will be exposed to the field of natural resource conservation. My classes are inclusive. Learners can ask questions, cultivate discussions, and share experiences with each other to learn together. My teaching style is energetic, interactive, engaging, and always supportive. Classes may run up to five minutes over the scheduled time depending on learner discussion and questions. No prior knowledge is necessary! Day 1: -Introductions & icebreaker game -Overview of today's class -Discuss: What is wildlife? What is ecology? What is a biome? -The 6 basic animals groups: Invertebrates, Fish, Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds, Mammals -On the Map: Deserts & Tundras -Animals Found in these Biomes -Plants Found in these Biomes -Characteristics & Facts about these Biomes -Questions & Wrap Up Day 2: -Greetings -Review terminology from last class (Wildlife, Ecology, Biome, Animal Groups) -Overview of today's class -On the Map: Tropical Rainforest, Temperate Forest, Taiga Forest -Animals Found in these Biomes -Plants Found in these Biomes -Characteristics & Facts about these Biomes -Activity: Birdseed Feeders -Questions & Wrap Up Day 3: -Greetings -Review last week’s discussion with a fun Kahoot -Overview of today's class -On the Map: Grasslands & Savanna -Animals Found in these Biomes -Plants Found in these Biomes -Characteristics & Facts about these Biomes -Questions & Wrap Up Day 4: -Greetings -Review last class -Overview of today's classx -On the Map: Marine, Freshwater & Coral Reefs -Animals Found in these Biomes -Plants Found in these Biomes -Characteristics & Facts about these Biomes -Activity: Ocean Bingo -Discuss Natural resource conservation -Questions & Wrap Up

Day 4 Supplies for Activity: Ocean Bingo -Ocean Bingo Card -Pennies, marbles, or some sort of temporary way to mark bingo card
