UU. Kindergarten - 1
Each week, we will begin our meeting with a "window check" where each student checks the weather outside and reports back to the class. This will help encourage confidence when speaking in front of peers, as well as reinforce the concept of taking turns and listening. We will even do a yoga pose or movement activity that relates to the weather observed.

Next, we will have a class discussion about the weather theme of the week (see schedule below). The teacher will share some photos and videos to help the students visualize the concepts.

Lastly, we will do a STEAM activity each week. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math, so the different activities will touch on different aspects of STEAM over the weeks. As we work on the activity, we will continue to discuss the theme of the week and the science behind it.
