In this class, we'll meet once a week for 45 minutes. Our time together will be spent sharpening existing skills and learning new ones. We'll explore a variety of subjects, including language arts, spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, writing, math, science, and art, taking time to strengthen and build skills in each area. Each week, we'll explore a new theme that ties into the skills we'll be focusing on. Hello, and welcome to my class! I'm Abby. I have over 30 years experience working with children ages 2-16. For many years, I was the co-owner, director of instruction, and lead teacher for J & A Daycare Center. I also have many years of experience caring for and teaching children through nannying and private home daycare, including children on the autism spectrum. (I have such a heart for children with special needs!) For the past five years, it has been my joy to homeschool my 20-year-old daughter. It is exciting to see her thriving and enjoying learning!
My teaching style is warm, creative, and fun. I am passionate about teaching young children! I love to encourage children and make sure they feel welcome. My goal for my classes is for every child to walk away smiling and feeling like they had a good time!
My husband, daughter and I make our home in Athens, GA. I enjoy wood painting, coloring, cooking, and crafts. I am so excited to meet and teach your child!Reseñas
