This Ongoing Ballet class is aimed at children who have at least 1-2 years previous Ballet experience (Aged 9 - 11 year olds).  Dancers may join at any time or drop-in when available to boost your ballet training.  Please contact me if you have any specific questions. Introduction
Warm Up
Ballet Technique Exercises - Selection of Grade 1-3 Ballet Exercises.
Teacher selection of:- Short Ballet Dance/Variation or Mime
Review of Ballet Positions/Ballet Theory Covered in Class
Cool Down/Reverence


Week of May 1st, 2024:- Ballet Class consisting of Warm Up/Barre & Centre Technique/Dance/Reverence
Week of May 8th, 2024:- Ballet Class consisting of Warm Up/Barre & Centre Technique/Dance/Reverence
Week of May 15th, 2024:- Ballet Class consisting of Warm Up/Barre & Centre Technique/Dance/Reverence
Week of May 22nd, 2024:- Ballet Class consisting of Warm Up/Barre & Centre Technique/Dance/Reverence
Week of May 29th, 2024:- Ballet Class consisting of Warm Up/Barre & Centre Technique/Dance/Reverence

There will be no regular class through June & July 2024.  I will have some one-time classes on offer and Summer Musical Theatre Camps.

The class is planned to resume in August.  Please contact me for any class time requests for the new school year.

Teaching Style:- I have a positive approach to teaching.  I like to praise and encourage.  This course will be active with me explaining and demonstrating as well as keeping an eye on all students in the class to see if they require help or are struggling.  When I'm speaking or have music playing I may keep the students muted so they are able to hear me/the music clearly but I will be checking on them in between exercises for questions.  I may also ask them to show me some of the steps/exercises so that I can see how much information they are retaining and how they are managing with the technique of the steps.  The pace of the class will reflect the students in the class.  

Ballet Grade Level:- Exercises will vary from Grade 1 - Grade 3 NCDTA/RAD Standard depending on the ability of the students in the class.  Please contact me if you would like advice on which level class to take.
