Calling all Creatives! In this One-Time class we talk about two points of business and what it means to be an entrepreneur. For now- "Kidpreneur" is a great starting point. The first point is: what do you like to do and what are you interested in? There is a fun activity we will do in class to help you narrow down this list. The second point is: how to make money and understand these two are not necessarily the same thing. Some people say just "follow your passion" which is great advice but it's important to learn that a passion for something does not equal earning money for that passion. In this class we will go through a power point and look at some case studies of other Kidpreneurs and see how they made their business grow from a small hobby side hustle to a full time business and career even while they were still in school. Looking at these case studies can help let the wheels turn in your own mind about what you could do and create! I encourage two or more learners in this class to have discussions about the ideas they have and also be able to ask questions in real-time that can foster an even bigger expansion of the mind to think of more business ideas. Starting a business isn't difficult but consistency can be. We will discuss some pitfalls to avoid and how to create a habit for your business. We will also touch base on how to protect your ideas with a timestamp. This class can also be interesting even if one learner is in class because of the case studies and Q/A section towards the end. We will follow a power point presentation to view our case studies and some other helpful information to get your business going. No prior knowledge is needed.

My first business was born out of helping someone else when they came to me asking for advice for fitness. I helped my "first client" before I knew I wanted to make a business. From there it grew into this idea that- if I can help someone else with "my product or service" then I could make money and even build a business. I completed my Masters in Health Coaching and my program taught fundamentals of business. From there I was hooked and excited to research and study how to be an entrepreneur. I've now worked for myself for 16 years and had several businesses. I love to encourage students to build a business of their own.
My teaching experience is broad as I have been lucky enough to teach what I love the most- wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
My initial training comes from (my own health journey) where from the young ages of 15-20 years old, I struggled with my self-confidence, body image and being a healthy person. After being able to self-heal my mental and emotional challenges I began formal education.
I focused on the anatomy and physiology in a sports massage program and became Licensed in two states. The following are my trainings, Masters Degree and certifications as I have 2000 hours in training clients and students in the field of wellness and fitness.
I had my own private business in CA, Aspen and Nashville both seeing clients and students in-person and online/phone.
-Nationally Board Certified as a Holistic Health Counselor HHC
-Certified Holistic Nutritionist
-Certified Personal Trainer
-Certified Yoga Instructor
-Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition and Psychological Coaching
-Licensed Anatomical and Physiological Sports Massage Therapist
