Welcome to Visual Zoology, a captivating weekly gathering designed for animal enthusiasts aged 11-15! Embark on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom, which encompasses millions of species scattered across the globe. In this club, we aim to deepen your understanding of biology concepts while nurturing your artistic talents.

During each session, we will focus on a specific animal and explore its placement within modern classification systems. With a keen eye for detail, we will uncover its key characteristics, as well as its phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Simultaneously, we will engage in an immersive art project, allowing you to choose your preferred medium (pen and paper, paint, tablet drawing program, etc.) to artistically portray the animal while highlighting its unique features.

The Visual Zoology club offers a fantastic opportunity for animal enthusiasts to receive formal instruction while enjoying the company of like-minded peers. Join our welcoming community and showcase your artwork to fellow learners, fostering a supportive environment that celebrates individual creativity and growth.

Subjects are chosen each week based on those organisms that have appeared in recent news or research, and based on learner recommendations.
