Who says having great self confidence is impossible?! Self Confidence can be a tricky subject for many students, but don’t worry help is on the way! For ages 13-17, Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada is a weekly class helping students to understand tips and strategies for building self-confidence in the real world! In this fun filled course, students will learn to dream big, set goals and take baby step towards feeling great about themselves daily! These classes help lay a foundation for a child’s future success and happiness by equipping them with an essential life skill. Putting children in a class specifically designed to build self-confidence can have numerous benefits, including Personal Growth, Social Skills, and Overcoming Challenges! Students will learn a tool and/or a fact each week to help them increase their self-confidence and self-esteem. I will present visuals in a slide show and we will practice different techniques such as journaling, repeating affirmations, visualizing, and more. Please note, this is not in any way a therapeutic class. While I do have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, in this class we will work on techniques / strategies that are given in general terms, so learners can take these tools and use what works for them. Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada is a 30-minute easy course. Classes begin daily with an ice breaker and quick introduction of what tip we will be studying for that day. Learners will be able to see my face throughout the class, interact with myself and each other as we talk, laugh and ask questions! No required experience or knowledge needed! Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada is a class that introduces students to realize the benefits of good self esteem. Taught by a business owner and motivational speaker, learning is easy and fun. Class 1) Week of Sept 3: Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada 9/3/24 Featured Topics: What is Confidence? I will discuss what confidence feels like and looks like. Class 2) Week of Sept 10: Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada 9/10/24 Featured Topics: What are affirmations? I will discuss how visualizing and creating positive affirmations can be valuable tools. Class 3) Week of Sept 17: Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada 9/17/24 Featured Topics: We are all different, and that is amazing! I will discuss how having unique attributes is a good thing and why we should feel confident in being different. Class 4) Week of Sept 24: Vibrant Vibes: Master your Confidence and Self Worth with Coach Nevada 9/24/24 Featured Topics: Mistakes are ok, they help us to grow! I will discuss how mistakes are only temporary setbacks and can actually help us to move forward! NOTE: Ongoing courses do not have an end date so once the above topics are completed, new topics will be introduced in upcoming weeks. This is an outline of what will be taught in the class. Learners will not be engaging in therapeutic conversation during this class.

My name is Nevada Howard, But my learners call me Coach Nevada! For the last 13 years I've worked with youth professionally, as a volunteer, and in my personal life. I have worked with children between the ages of 4 and 18 and I am currently a self employed business owner and youth workshop facilitator!
I love working with children!!!! I have 2 daughters and For 4 years I directed Camp Howard in Milford Mill Maryland, a camp named after myself where I developed a comprehensive curriculum featuring a summer enrichment program, arts and crafts, Spanish classes, bi-weekly swimming sessions, and weekly field trips! I've worked as a mentor, I've taught classes on entrepreneurship, I've taught motivational classes, I've even taught as a substitute teacher in the public school system for 4 years! For a year, I was even the personal assistant of an autistic and blind student.
I am passionate about teaching entrepreneurship and motivational speaking! I want to work with children ages 13-17. As a teacher, experienced business owner and motivational speaker, I know first hand that Entrepreneurship education can help children develop skills that are useful and can last a lifetime including Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication, Leadership, Problem solving and Resilience.

I have run my own business for 20+ years helping others to get "UNSTUCK" and create the life of their dreams! Helped thousands of people overcome obstacles, develop a winning mindset, turn their passion into dollars, and start and/or grow their business. I am also an Influential key note speaker for many marketing groups, Life Insurance Agencies, Life Insurance Marketing Organizations, churches, schools and various other clubs and organizations.
