This enrichment class introduces students to veterinary science through a story. The story is Vicky the Vet by Jo Litchfield and Felicity Brooks. It isn't required for this class. 

Students will learn about cats, dogs, insects, worms, snakes, and rats.

I intertwine the story with topics that are about becoming a veterinarian. For, example how to use a stethoscope, take a pulse, learn the parts of the microscope, and learn what is a caliper. 

I touch all the senses for children to retain the material they are learning. We may draw, exercise, and view videos that teach them what a vet needs to know. 

Children need craft tools and coloring utensils for each class session. 

If a child has any inquiries, I will gladly respond to their questions within 48 hours.

On average this enrichment class can be completed within a month.
