This class is designed for intermediate and advanced artists who want to learn how to realistically color and shade. We will focus on rendering various materials, including metal, glass, plastic, and more. This class is based on industrial design rendering techniques often taught at the college level.

✅ Vehicle Design: Each week, we will cover a different vehicle where we will draw cars, robots, planes, boats, etc.

✅ Industrial Design Rendering Techniques: The industrial design rendering techniques taught in this class are ideal for students interested in creating their own robotic designs, technology, and engineering. It is also well-suited for students who are into concept art and video game design.

✅ Mixed Medium Approach: The techniques in this class leverage multiple mediums: Markers often provide vibrant colors and bold hues but can be challenging for detail and blending. On the other hand, colored pencils offer excellent precision and shading but may not cover large areas or produce vibrant colors efficiently. This class combines the advantages of markers and colored pencils to achieve a vibrant, tonal paper technique that looks photorealistic.

✅ Dazzling Highlights and Reflections: Make sure to bring your toned paper and white colored pencil to create highlights that you can't achieve with just a normal pencil and paper!

✅ Wide Application: Once you master this technique, it will significantly enhance your ability to color and render anything, including people and clothing. Additionally, it will improve your digital painting and coloring skills.

This is a class for intermediate/ advanced artists. Because we will be focusing on coloring, there will be less of a focus on drawing. Students should have intermediate drawing abilities.
