I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in the main character from Super Mario Bros. Learners will create a special Valentines Day drawing by following along as I guide the process step-by-step. I recommend a pencil to follow me as I demonstrate each line of the picture. After drawing, we will color them in and add our own unique details! Students can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels... the sky is the limit! In the end, each learner will have a super drawing to give to their Valentine or to have as a keepsake.

Please have a piece of paper and drawing utensils. A pencil is great to start with, and a variety of tools could be used to add color. Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paints, etc., are all fine choices.

I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
