Grado de EE. UU. 4 - 7
Get ready to embark on an exciting journey through America’s past! This is the fourth and final part of our fifth-grade Social Studies series - but don’t worry, you don’t have to take all four parts or follow them in order to enjoy the adventure. In this course, we’ll explore how the United States transformed from the early 1800s to the mid-1900s. We’ll begin with the Louisiana Purchase, uncover the causes of the Civil War, and examine the experiences of Indigenous peoples, African Americans, and women during this time. From there, we’ll dive into the challenges and changes of the Reconstruction era, which shaped the next century of American life. Our journey will take us through the Gilded Age, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, and both World Wars, as we discover how laws, industry, and culture continuously reshaped the nation. This is more than just history - it’s the story of how America became what it is today. Are you ready to explore the past and see its impact on the present? Let’s dive in! ************************************************************************************* This class will be taught through recorded lectures and may also include supplemental videos (Youtube), readings, worksheets, and activities (recipes, movies, dioramas, experiments, etc.).
