In this ongoing class, the students will learn how to write a new uppercase letter. The students can tell the class, words that start with that letter. The students will read a new book with the letter we are talking about. The collection is called Alpha Tales by Scholastic ( used with permission). The students will be making a new letter uppercase art project. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class. Week of October 30:L- The students will be making a ladybug with oil pastels and watercolour paints. Week of November 6:F-The students will be making a frog with markers. Week of November 20:E- The students will be making an elephant with crayons Week of November 27:H-The students will be making a horse with colour paper.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
