Misterios e historias sin resolver

UFOs, the Bermuda Triangle, and Richard III. What do they all have in common? They are a part of some of the biggest unsolved historical mysteries to ever exist. In this ongoing class, students will learn about a different historical mystery each week. Students will listen to a lecture about the mystery, and then be challenged to come up with possible explanations. Students will discuss their theories during class, using their critical thinking skills. Our schedule will be as follows: Week of 7/16: Roswell UFO Incident Week of 7/23: Richard III and the Lost Princes Week of 7/30: Amelia Earhart Week of 8/6: The Lost Colony of Roanoke Week of 8/13: Bermuda Triangle Week of 8/20: Atlantis Students are expected to participate in discussions, and must have a working camera and microphone. Students are not expected to have prior knowledge of the subject.

The mysteries discussed in this class contain themes of violence, death, and creepy or spooky elements. Parents are advised to look up the specific events if they feel their child may be sensitive towards scary elements. We will be mentioning that racism was a motivator for some theories and/or the refusal of theories in the past (Amelia Earhart and The Lost Colony of Roanoke weeks).
