I first learned Latin in primary school. As a linguist, Romance languages have been one of my areas of specialization, thus I have taught and conducted research in Latin for several decades.

Detalles: Twenty minutes per class period (i.e., forty to forty-five minutes a week) of work outside class is required. If students are struggling and their work takes more than twenty-five minutes outside of class, I always instruct them to stop there and just bring what they have. I do not believe in excessive out-of-class workloads.

Detalles: Within class, I will provide regular comprehension checks, both written and oral, to ascertain students' comprehension and to direct my lesson plans/need for reinforcement. 

I have always based my Latin instruction on the Wheelock's Latin textbook.
