Hello! My name is Sharronda Smith and Enrichology Tutoring is my brand.  I've been a classroom high school science teacher for 14 years (this is year 15 in education, woohoo!). I've taught, learned and grown as a teacher and a person.  Outschool is now my stomping grounds. 

Science and math have been my preferred way of understanding the world since before I was in Elementary School.  I was surrounded by older cousins who taught me what they learned in school. As a result, I came into school eager to learn more! However, (possibly due to undiagnosed ADHD) I struggled to stay focused in class and complete homework. Largely due to boredom with class and a thirst for knowledge, reading and daydreaming became an escape, where I could play with all sort of concepts in my mind. I preferred being in my mind to reality in the classroom. It wasn't until high school (my Senior year that I was diagnosed with ADHD), my last year of college that I was medicated (I graduated in 20010 with a Bachelor's in Biology and Minor in Chemistry) and my adult years that I learned organizational strategies to help with my ADHD. 

As an adolescent and young adult,  I thought something was "wrong" with me. As an adult, I understand that ADHD has it's benefits (that can be utilized) and detriments (that can be managed through knowledge, organization, mnemonic devices and lifestyle).  I aspire to share what I've learned about science, math and ADHD with others to help them be successful!
