As this is is a self-paced class a presentation and worksheets for the subject will be sent to you as you go. When you complete the worksheets send that back to be graded and have yourself some fun! The set up of the class will be one slideshow/video presentation subject that must be watched, as well as handouts to be read. - Students will understand how the Constitution came about. What the Founding Fathers were looking to accomplish with their independence from England and their new government system.
I have a degree in History as well as passed my teaching test in Massachusetts. I use my love of History and facts to help children understand that history is conceived of real people who did real things. I found Social Studies class boring as a child because the teachers concentrated mostly on dates and statistics rather than the humans behind the events. I use the historical documents and primary sources to bring the past to life.

US Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, letters from the founding fathers as well as information on the philosophers who inspired the text. I will be sending my Power Point Presentation every week.
