The directions, explanations and questions will be in English in order to provide support to students who need help understanding French grammar. Students will find these grammar topics engaging with videos, games and activities to practice individually. They will have a chance to ask the teacher questions and the teacher will be able to check their progress through informal "game-like" assessments and give individual feedback. Students will be asked to respond to the teacher and others by video or by writing in the classroom. The topics will be as follows: 1) French Adjectives & the Verb Être: Understanding adjective agreement and learning about adjective placement using the BAGS rule. Activities: Notes/Explanations with slide show, review and assessment with Quizlet and Kahoot. 2) French "ER verbs": Understanding how to conjugate a verb and practice talking about what themselves and others are doing in the present tense. Activities: practice conjugations of faire, expressions of faire, seasons and weather.
