Hi friends! I am an award winning professional artist, certified art designer and long time Art Teacher Mrs. R is excited to have you here.

 ~Welcome dear friends and come discover the wondrous world of Anime Character Art! This is a highly engaging place for a creative outlet to build skills & for learners who are hyper imagination. You can ignite your artistry and channel your creativity here.  It is my absolute greatest joy to encourage learners to think like an artist and become their own kind of artists!

~Each week we will workshop original or classic characters in epic anime art style, including reconceptualize exciting characters and design our own characters live in class based on epic prompts references.  We will draw lots of full body female characters and sometimes male characters in a fun manga like styles and in cool fashion and poses.

~ We will work on based on many dynamic prompts, it will always  be fun cool characters designs in a friendly atmosphere focusing on creativity & art techniques. We will work on full body dynamic poses or broad illustrations. Learners are encouraged to share as we draw, it is not necessary and is optional.  I will be here to answer questions and guide artistic conversations, like color theory, portions & shading, and so on. Learners are welcome to use my art as a guide while they add their own own personal style with details and make the work their own unique version and mastering their anime people skills.

Learn to  illustrate  Demon Slayer male character over the shoulder pose 
Learn to illustrate a compelling composition with Demon Slayer female character
Learn to illustrate a Genshin Impact with texture and pattern
Learn to illustrate a marvelous Magical Girl character in a power stance  
Learn to illustrate an epic Samurai boy character, a reclining figure, and draw hands
Learn to illustrate a really cute Ramen character in a resting pose while eating
Learn to illustrate an O.C anime girl drinking boba character
Learn to illustrate & use detailed shading techniques for a realistic anime character
Learn to illustrate a chibi managa girl from Spy X
Learn to illustrate a portrait shadows system: highlight, form shadows, core shadows, 
 cast shadows, & reflected light.

Class Theme: These are Examples. Classes are built upon Learners Requests Class. Classes are always exciting, impactful, and dynamic ways as we cycle through and start themes, we continually practice illustrating concepts, the principles of design, elements of drawing techniques with fun themes & characters! Please feel more than welcome to ask what week we are on and if you have any questions.  Years of instructing, immense time, and passion go into creating a class that provides a lively fun environment with core art lessons and the wiggle room to be free with your artistic expression! ~Materials: 
`Learners should bring drawing paper to draw on or a sketch pad,
`Learners please bring a classic pencil ( machinal pencils are great for smaller details or finalizing an art piece as they have hard lines that are difficult ) So bring an eraser please 
`Learners can also bring anything to add color with such as colored pencils or markers.  I often use Prisma colored pencils and heavy sketch paper, these tools are optional.
 Bonus: An eager attitude & a big imagination! Great time to explore techniques and materials. Digital is more than welcome.

Class Attendance: 
 If you are unable to attend & need to move to another class, I am more than happy to transfer you anytime for the week with 24 hours notice, please. Important; Outschool will process payment the Sunday before class starts. Payment holds your spot in the class & gives you access to the class recording. This is an in-demand class so I teach many times during the week. Refunds according to Outschool policies & not for missed or no shows. Make up classes are available. Outschool doesn't automatically stop your learner’s subscription. Parents are welcome  to pause & un-pause subscription as works best. Thank you!
