We will discuss a range of topics entirely in French. Some miming etc may be involved! Students need to have a good level of spoken French and be able to read and write a little in French. The classes will be interactive, but with less singing than in some of my classes! Students are welcome to have a good quality dictionary to hand - tiny dictionaries will not be helpful. We will use the present tense, the imperfect tense, the passé composé, the future tense (je vais + infinitive) and the conditional tense in the classes. w.c. 2nd December. Winter. What is it like where you are? Do you like snow? w.c. 9th December. Do you decorate for Christmas or another winter festival? w.c. 16th December. We will share our favourite Christmas memories and songs. w.c. 6th January. Bonne Année! Tell us about your Christmas break. have you made New Year's Resolutions?

Students will have the opportunity to speak in French for a whole lesson and to listen to others speaking in French. Students will use a range of tenses in class and to extend their use of these tenses in a supportive environment.

Learners attending this class should speak French well, as there is almost NO English spoken in class.

Students will need a pen and paper of suitable IT to make notes in class. A good quality dictionary can be used in class if required.
