In this ASL class for children aged 6-10, learners will work at their own pace learning basic ASL signs related to a certain topic. There will be no in person classes. I aim to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience through video lessons and ASL projects.

It is important to note that, to be fully immersed in the course, you need to purchase the ASL Class Activity Workbook and ASL Flashcards. This bundle includes the 268 page activity book and 310 ASL flashcards.

Instructor-Student Interaction:

In addition to interacting with the instructor through questions, discussion, and feedback on homework and projects (Outschool Messaging or Email), the instructor and student can have periodically "check-in's" to evaluate the learner’s needs and progress together. The instructor is available for “Office Hours” to meet with the learner over Zoom once every 6 week section of the course, if needed. For example, Weeks 1-6 = 1 Zoom Check-in; Weeks 7-12 = 1 Zoom Check-in (So, 2 times per course.). Contact the instructor if you want this Zoom Check-in.

At the end of the program, the students will have a solid foundation in basic ASL, covering the outlined topics.
