Classes will be 45 minutes long. This time will be spent learning the basics of using TinkerCAD. The basics will include talking about width, height, and length and the three-dimensional plane in which CAD happens. Students will learn to use the tools copy, paste, delete, group, and align. They will learn the location of the toolbar, navigation, and shape panel. The basic technique of creating a project will be done as a group with input from the teacher as they progress through different steps of the guided lesson.

This is a hands-on learning class with a live demonstration. Students will be going through the project step by step. Breaks will be taken to allow students to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of CAD and the 3D design process. If time permits at the end of class, students will play a round of Blooket based on the new skills they learned during their lesson.
