Hello! It is "Time to Tell the Time...to the Half-Hour" in this one-time class for 5-8 year olds! In this class, we will begin with a quick review of telling time to the hour on analog and digital clocks. We will then move on to telling time to the half-hour on both kinds of clocks. We will strengthen our knowledge and flexibility of telling time to the hour and half-hour through writing and showing the time, flashcards, and games. I believe meeting students where they are at academically is so important and I will be accessing throughout class to determine the next direction that instruction should take. I also believe it is paramount that learning be engaging, so we will be having fun in class! Please join me on this journey of telling time! I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!

Please print off the analog and digital clocks for students to use in class. It would be very helpful to make the clocks useable with dry erase markers by inserting the clock into a plastic sleeve, laminating it, or putting the clock in a plastic bag. If unable to do so, please use a pencil so that the time can be erased and a new time can be shown.
