In this Animal Science class, your child will learn even more weird and wacky facts about numerous creatures from all around the world, adding to their knowledge from part 1 and part 2! You can take these classes in any order though, so feel free to mix it up! Join us as we learn many weird, gross, and wacky facts about numerous creatures from all around the world! For example, did you know that a kangaroo will leave their joey behind so that they, themselves, can escape from a predator? ...
- Learners will become informed about many weird animal behaviors, and will understand the reasons behind these behaviors. As strange as an animal behavior may seem, it always serves a purpose, and it is usually essential to their very survival! Your child will be able to teach you the weird and wacky things they have learned in class, and will probably want to test out some common myths on you as well!
We will be discussing gross bodily functions of various creatures, such as the lobster, which urinates from its eyes! Of course, class wouldn't be complete without a little bit of science behind animals who eat their own poop! I will do my very best to approach these odd subjects with my usual sense of humor and as much class as possible!
Students should have a piece of paper and a pen to play a little guessing game at the start of class:)
