Learn about each of the twelve Olympians of Ancient Greece, their distinguishing characteristics and what realms they governed through informative slides and pictures. From Hestia the goddess of the hearth to Hephaestus the blacksmith god, learners will get to learn and consolidate their knowledge through stories, quizzes and interactive games such as heads up! This is a beginner entry level class and no knowledge of Ancient Greece or mythology is required. 30 mins: slideshow 15 min: quiz, drawing and interactive game/video

My name is Maya and I graduated from the University of Oxford with a geography degree in 2013. Since then I have worked in the humanitarian sector for the British Red Cross and worked as a private tutor around the world. I am grateful that I can share my academic interests on Outschool and meet curious learners from around the world. I offer a variety of classes on geography, history, literature, art history, philosophy, classical civilisation and yoga. My classes are interactive and discussion based and all types of learners are welcome to come and participate.
