We’ll first do an ice breaker question about folk songs and then work through a power point about the Wellerman song (and about sea shanties, sailor songs). Sailors often sang songs to help pass the time on ships. We’ll look at the lyrics for the song, talk about any unfamiliar vocabulary in it, and try to sing it together at the end of class.
