We will be reading the book I Can't Do That, Yet by Esther Pia Cordova. In this book Enna often says "I can't do that!" She learns the importance of a growth mindset and learns to say, "I can't do that yet!" We will discuss the importance of growth mindset after reading the story, then watch an inspirational quick kid talk about the power of yet. At the end we will be making I can't do that, yet signs to help them identify areas of challenge that they can work on to help them feel more successful. 
All resources will be shared through screen sharing. Students will need pencil, paper and coloring items for the end of class project.
