El Nido de la Naturaleza - Club de Diario de la Naturaleza

Nature Journaling is a relaxing and powerful tool that helps us to better understand the natural world around us. In this ongoing class, students will learn how to use art and observation skills to investigate an item from nature. They will use critical thinking to ask questions about their natural object and unlock curiosity that will keep them thinking and questioning. We will learn to use a nature journal together and will discuss how there is no wrong or right way to keep a journal, but instead how we can use it to encourage wonder, work like a scientist, and deepen our thinking. We will use social and emotional skills to interact with each other and nature and learn how this tool can help us connect topics across subjects. 
We will start each class by talking about our nature item, introducing the topic of nature journaling and its benefits, and then we will work on our journal entries together. We will end each class by sharing a bit about what we created.
