In this one-time class, we will read "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams. Before reading we will review the parts of the book and make predictions about the story. While we read I will ask comprehension and prediction questions to help keep learners engaged as well as to practice vital reading skills. Students will be encouraged to repeat the sound or movement words, such as "clomp," "wiggle," "shake," "clap,""nod," and "boo!" This is a fun story and I cannot wait to read it with your child! After the story, we will work together to retell the story while we complete a sequencing worksheet! Learners are encouraged to retell the story using this worksheet to their family. *Please note: While this story appears to be a Halloween story, it does not actually reference Halloween.
