En esta clase única, jugaremos juegos de improvisación con temática de Halloween y luego representaremos la leyenda de Sleepy Hollow.

In this one time class, we will be learning interactive improv games all based around Halloween. Then we will dive into our play! When we begin class, we will play improv games to get to know each other. First we start with a name game, and then move on to a couple of storytelling games. I have a very organic teaching style, and always love to give the students options for different games to play. Then I will discuss our play that we will be reading. I currently am playing Katrina Van Tassel in the Sleepy Hollow Experience in Harrodsburg Kentucky. I will talk about the production, and show pictures, and share the story with the learners. We then will dive into our play! We will assign parts after our read thru and then read the play again with parts! The learners must be able to read to take this class.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will improve their quick thinking skills, as well as social skills. This class will help students get out of their shell and use their creative brains. Learners will learn about classic literature and how it can be turned into live storytelling.

Learners are encouraged but not required to wear anything Halloween themed! I have a digital copy of the script we will be using, and the learners will read it as I share my screen!
