Week 1: Drawing Dory (from Dory Fantasmagory)
Focus Character: Dory (a.k.a. Rascal) – a small, scrappy girl with wild hair and a big imagination.  

Drawing Skill: Basic shapes (circles for head, ovals for body) and messy lines for hair.  

Instruction: 
Start with a round head and two big eyes.  

Add a wide, goofy smile and a tangle of hair.  

Sketch a simple dress and skinny legs.

Fun Activity: Dory’s Daydream Scene – Draw Dory with a speech bubble showing one of her wild ideas (e.g., fighting Mrs. Gobble Gracker).



Week 2: Drawing Mary (from Dory Fantasmagory)
Focus Character: Mary – Dory’s imaginary friend, a fluffy monster with horns and a tail.  

Drawing Skill: Texture (fluffy fur) and adding details (horns, tail).  

Instruction: 
Use an oval for the body and smaller ovals for arms/legs.  

Draw wavy lines for fur and add triangle horns.  

Give Mary a friendly grin.

Fun Activity: Mary’s Adventure – Draw Mary doing something silly with Dory (e.g., eating cookies).



Week 3: Drawing Mrs. Gobble Gracker (from Dory Fantasmagory)
Focus Character: Mrs. Gobble Gracker – Dory’s imaginary villain, a tall, creepy lady with a pointy nose and robe.  

Drawing Skill: Proportions (long body, big nose) and shading for a spooky vibe.  

Instruction: 
Draw a tall rectangle for her body and a triangle robe.  

Add a long nose, squinting eyes, and a frown.  

Use light scribbles for shadows.

Fun Activity: Villain Pose – Draw Mrs. Gobble Gracker sneaking up on Dory or holding a “stolen” toy.



Week 4: Drawing Rosabelle (from Dory and the Real True Friend)
Focus Character: Rosabelle – Dory’s real friend, a girl with a princess vibe and a big imagination.  

Drawing Skill: Accessories (crown, dress) and facial expressions.  

Instruction: 
Sketch a head with long hair and a small crown.  

Draw a fancy dress with ruffles.  

Add a confident or dreamy expression.

Fun Activity: Friendship Moment – Draw Rosabelle and Dory holding hands or playing together.



Week 5: Drawing Luke and Violet (from Dory Fantasmagory series)
Focus Characters: Luke and Violet – Dory’s older siblings, annoyed but caring.  

Drawing Skill: Poses (standing, arms crossed) and sibling differences (Luke’s short hair, Violet’s ponytail).  

Instruction: 
Draw taller bodies with simple clothes (jeans, shirts).  

Add Luke’s short hair and Violet’s ponytail.  

Give them eye-rolling or smirking faces.

Fun Activity: Sibling Scene – Draw Luke and Violet reacting to one of Dory’s antics (e.g., chasing her with a broom).



Week 6: Wrap-Up – Create Your Own Character
Focus: Kids invent their own Dory Fantasmagory-style character (real or imaginary).  

Drawing Skill: Combine techniques from prior weeks (shapes, textures, expressions).  

Instruction: 
Brainstorm: Is it a friend, villain, or family member?  

Draw using favorite elements (e.g., wild hair, horns, a dress).  

Add a name and one fun detail (e.g., loves pizza).

Fun Activity: Gallery Show – Share drawings in a mini “art exhibit” (display on a table or screen).
