Parents will love this course because it goes beyond just teaching nutrition and physical activity. It’s about creating lasting habits that encourage your learner to make healthy choices that boost their energy and support their growth. This course focuses on: Balanced Nutrition: Learners will understand the five food groups, how to read food labels, and how to make healthy choices for breakfast and snacks. Physical Activity: In addition to nutrition, this course teaches kids the importance of staying active and how physical activity fuels their body for better energy and well-being. Mindful Eating: Kids will learn the difference between appetite and hunger, how to eat mindfully, and how to be more aware of the foods that nourish them. Hands-on Learning: From fun quizzes and food label activities to making a nutritious "Egg in a Mug" breakfast and taking a yogurt taste test, this course is packed with interactive moments. What Makes This Class Different? The Energy Express is unique because it combines both nutrition education and physical activity in a fun, engaging, and kid-friendly way. Unlike other courses on Outschool that may focus solely on nutrition or fitness, this course integrates both in a way that is accessible and exciting for learners.
