Each class we will take some time to get to know one another and become comfortable. This is a club and our goal is to have a welcoming, accepting, safe space where students feel comfortable. We will then brainstorm possible characteristics of the characters learners are about to create. Once everyone feels ready, students will have class time to draw the characters. Any level of art expertise is FINE! This is not an art class--this is a creating class! Students can make their drawings as simple or as elaborate as they choose and will have an opportunity to share the final product with the class. Students can work on their artwork outside of class but it is not required. There should be sufficient time in class. Ms. Jackson draws, too :-)

Note: Please bring paper and pencils, crayons, etc. of choice for drawing
