Welcome to the second part of The Complete Artificial Super Intelligence class. Part 1: https://outschool.com/classes/the-complete-artificial-super-intelligence-class-w20cH97s?usid=X2QF2eOU&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link In this class we will focus on various aspect of how superintelligence will change our lives in the future. This class will focus on open debate amongst learners and teacher. The goal is for learners to build a scientific view of how superintelligence can potentially change the future of humankind. Class structure: Day 1 - Does superintelligence have to be a robot? We will discuss different ways superintelligence can be and the advantages and disadvantages. Day 2 - Ambient Intelligence is the idea that everything that surrounds us will be intelligence - your clothes, the wall next to you, the juice cup you're drinking from....everything! How would life be in this future? Day 3 - Privacy in a world of superintelligence. Here is the problem, machines can only truly help us if they know everything about us. So how will privacy look like in the future? Day 4 - Will money survive? We discussed this topic in part 1 class, but here we will go deeper and see how superintelligence could make money more valuable or remove the need for money. Day 5 - Will superintelligence empower nations or remove nations (in favor of a one world government)? There is a big debate in the science community if superintelligence will be the end of countries and nations as we know them today. We will discuss the pros and cons about nations vs one world.

My name is Mounir Shita - but you can call me Mo (trust me, it is scientifically proven to be easier to pronounce). I have been amazed and intrigued by thinking machines since I was a teenager. As an adult, I've made it my career to research and develop thinking machines.
I've spent over 20 years researching real thinking machines, built a lot of technology, started my own "AI" companies and even been involved in government "AI" programs.
In Outschool I hope to contribute to make you curious science, especially intelligent machines. I will teach classes ranging from introduction to artificial intelligence and thinking machines, to ethics (is it good or bad?) to teaching you how to build your own AI-powered games.
