El cuidado y mantenimiento de una tortuga sulcata

This is a four week course about the care and keeping of a Sulcata Tortoise. 

In this course students will learn about where Sulcatas live in the wild and also about how to take care of them in captivity from egg to adult.   I personally own and rescue Sulcatas.  Throughout this course I will use written lessons, live videos, photos and my personal Sulcatas to teach students about these amazing creatures.  

Students will be given puzzles and quizzes throughout the class to not only test their knowledge, but to make learning fun. Students also will be assigned to do some little projects of making their own Sulcatas. They can do this in anyway they would like (painting, drawing, play-doh, ect).  

Students are also highly encouraged to ask any questions regarding the care and keeping of Sulcatas that we may not have directly covered in class. 

Throughout the course students will meet my Sulcatas and will learn about some of their rescue stories.  This can be a little sad, as we talk about the condition they were in when they were rescued, but all of the stories have a happy ending

Each week/day will take a different amount of time to complete, as some lessons have more content, videos, reading, etc than other lessons. Furthermore, the length of time to complete their projects various based on the students choice of project, the effort they put into it, etc.
