The learners will receive a pre-assessment to determine prior knowledge of key components of subject-verb agreement. They will further be assessed through the various guided practice activities.Experiencia de clase

In this course, students will examine subjects and verbs in the present and past tenses to determine if there is an agreement between them. The teacher will present three sets of verb types: action and linking, negative contractions, and difficult verbs & subjects. Each verb will be coupled with a singular or plural subject, and students will determine the accurate subject-verb agreement relationship. The teacher will begin with a pre-assessment, followed by three additional activities (fill-in-the-blank, choose the appropriate verb form/spelling, and form your own sentences).
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will improve their understanding of how verbs agree based on their subjects as well as attain clarity of certain misconceptions of difficult verb pairs.
