- Comprehension skills: inferencing, main idea/supporting details, author's purpose, cause and effect, compare and contrast, draw conclusions, figurative language, plot, point of view, sequence of events, theme, summarizing, synonym/antonym, word recognition, dictionary, literary devices, etc.

Frecuencia: incluidoDetalles: Informal assessment of students will occur in class to guide instruction. Questions will be reviewed with the whole group to guide understanding. The students will be able to walk away from this class knowing their strengths and weaknesses from the passage.
Students will need: A print out of the reading passage and questions for each class and a copy of the test-taking strategies we will use in class (Provided before class begins)
