Teachspark - Matemáticas 7 - Uno a uno

This course will be covering materials in Grade 7 Math. Topics covered in this grade level are ratios, proportions, expressions, equations, inequalities, percents and proportionality. During this course, students will be able to work one on one with me to address Grade 7 Math standards. We will meet via video calls, and use tools like a virtual white board and slides to work together throughout the lessons.

The biggest factor in a tutoring session for me is to develop a safe place for my students. Many children, especially in middle school, feel a resentment towards math due to prior experiences. My job is not only to teach the content, but to also boost the confidence of my students. I am aware that we are all different types of learners, so I use multiple different approaches to teach a concept to account for that.
