Have you ever wanted to teach your dog a fun new trick but weren’t sure where to start? In this one-time class, learners and their dogs will follow step-by-step instructions from an accredited dog trainer as you teach your dogs in real-time.

Trick training is more than just fun—it strengthens your bond with your dog, provides mental stimulation, builds confidence for both of you, and improves focus and obedience. Plus, the more tricks your dog learns, the faster they’ll pick up new skills! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced trainer, this class will leave you and your dog with a brand-new trick (or two).

You’ll learn the basics of positive reinforcement training and how to apply these techniques while getting hands-on experience. At the beginning of class, we’ll choose from a list of tricks to work on together, ensuring a fun and unique experience for all participants.

- Your dog on a leash.
- Tasty treats for your dog (eg. chicken, commercial dog treats, kibble if your pup will work for it! Any food suitable for dogs that your dog really likes). Cut them up into tiny bite sized pieces (as small as you can get away with as we will be using lots of them!).
- Having a pouch to put the treats in is helpful but not necessary. 
- A dog toy or two incase your dog would prefer to work for those.

I am an IMDT certified dog trainer with a deep passion for all animals. My experience as a professional dog trainer for over 8 years has given me a unique understanding of animal behaviour & the strong bonds between humans & their pets, particularly dogs.

I am passionate about all areas of dog training & behaviour however trick training is one of my favourites! Just learning how to communicate with an animal & forming an understanding together with them is so very rewarding & I strive to help as many other people experience this as possible.

I regularly work with children & their dogs in class settings & on a one-to-one basis, teaching them how to stay safe around their dogs, including reading body language, how to teach their pets different commands, fun tricks & much more!

I have helped children to communicate & connect with a variety of animals including dogs, horses, snakes & other reptiles. 

My teaching approach fosters empathy, curiosity & interactive learning.
