Mabuhay! 
This Tagalog class is just as fun, interactive, and engaging as all my other classes. It is designed for the student who prefers to have a live, private 1-on-1 instruction instead of a group class. You will get the attention and personalized lessons you need to practice Tagalog with me and to learn the skill in speaking and understanding Tagalog.

Each session is a set of 8 lessons that are intended to help the student grow in their Tagalog acquisition skills. When learning a language for the first time, it is important to hear and identify sounds well. No matter what level a student is in, I will take the time to go through some basics and fundamentals so they can have a strong foundation. Then, we can continue to build on that as we progress in the lessons. 

Here is how I will break down the lessons:

Introduction 5 minutes
Cultural Discussion 5 minutes
Lesson and Practice 20 minutes
Game/Review 5 minutes

Lesson 1 - Introduction and Greetings 
Lesson 2 - Ang Alpabeto
Lesson 3 - Mga Bilang
Lesson 4 - Mga Kulay
Lesson 5 - About Me
Lesson 6 - My hobbies
Lesson 7 - Likes/Dislikes
Lesson 8 - My Family

We will work on vocabulary, sentence construction, pronunciation, grammar, and fun Filipino expressions. Each lesson comes with a handout and a worksheet for extra practice at home.
