Orientación para padres
The 20th century was a very violent century- from World War I until the beginning of the War on Terror. These events will be discussed and media clips from the time will be used. I will not go for shock value in the clips I choose, but because of the course of events, students may see the after effects of war.

This class will use primary sources. As you know, sources from the past often use language considered to be racist slurs today and visual primary sources from the 20th century can portray violence. I am a History teacher who teaches and tutors in Advanced Placement US History as well as teaching regular American History and Civics courses. I teach at a culturally responsive school and have experience working with multiple student populations. I have a Master's degree in Political Science as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a history minor. I also have been a life long learner, seeking out History professional development as often as I can get it.
