Is your learner ready to explore more about how marine science is a tremendous part of their surfing experience? In the second part of Surfing Science Camp, we'll dig deeper into the science behind why surfers are able to 'catch' waves, the different chemical factors and biological elements of marine life that play a role in a surfer's overall experience, and even discuss how surfers can change the world for the better by doing what they love the most.  Science may not teach you how to stand up on your board, but learning more about the scientific concepts surrounding the workings of the world's oceans could help you become a smarter surfer and a better citizen of the sea! Join me on this 3-day journey to learn about the science of the ocean through a surfer's perspective.

Day 2: Scientific Factors That Impact a Surfer's Experience
Day 3: How Surfers Can Protect the World's Oceans 

Students will learn about these topics through engaging activities, short videos, and active discussions, along with a foundation of information on slides that I provide. The first Surfing Science Camp is not required to be taken prior, but preferred if possible. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
