- Week 1: Welcome, review, scale game, bow game, introduce notes on the D String, learn Hot Cross Buns on the D String, and play 'Dancing Partners" Week 2: Welcome, review, D note Game. Play "Dancing Partners" with bow and add 'Long Long Ago" Week 3: Welcome, review, A and D note game. Play above 2 songs and add, "May Song" Week 4: Welcome, review, Rhythm Game, Play all songs and learn "Oh Susanna."
I have been teaching children how to play the violin for over 20 years, conducted youth school and community youth orchestras and played in community orchestras. I was trained internationally in Canada, Slovakia and the USA.
