In this on-going class, the students will learn about a new summer fruit. The students will be shown a picture of the fruit. The students can tell the class what they like about that summer fruit. The students will be making a new summer fruit with new art material. I will be doing it with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their art project to the class. Week of August 7: Watermelon: The students will be drawing a watermelon with oil pastels. Week of August 14th: Pineapple: The students will be making a pineapple with color paper. Week of August 21st: Cherries: The students will be making cherries with markers. Week of August 28th: Oranges: The students will be making oranges with tissue paper.

I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
