In this class learners will practice the parts of speech through games and simple engaging activities. Each week learners will be welcomed and introduced to the theme of the week. Students can choose to watch a very short video of the theme or we can discuss together. Students will be given a choice of which game they would like to play first to practice the target skill that week. An example of weekly scheduling. Students may require more than 1 week per topic and can be adjusted as need be. Week 1 will consist of practicing Nouns. Week 2 will consist of finding the verb choices. Week 3 will consist of Adjective introduction and review to date. Week 4 will consist of Pronouns. Week 5 will consist of Prepositions and Conjunctions. Week 6 will consist of Review and Sentence Building exercises. This class is great for reviewing the parts of speech. It can help with writing skills. It is designed to use games and activities to keep the learners interest. Students will be encouraged to use the chat box to write a word or sentence. The games consist of "tic tac toe", boom card games, bingo, and more! Each week a worksheet or activity will be sent home incase you student wants to practice.

Four years ago, After a couple decades of teaching in some beautiful schools with amazing students, I decided to make a change. I left behind the "brick and mortar" schools for the online school community. I could not be happier. The online school community still has beautiful schools with amazing students.
I am so happy I made the change. I love teaching or tutoring online. I love connecting with students. I love using games, stories and props to teach students English, Math and English as a Second Language.
I love seeing children learn at their pace. I love seeing the confidence boost in children when they succeed. I love hearing how my lessons have helped children all over the world.
