Campamento de verano: C++ basado en proyectos para principiantes
Experiencia de clase
Early registration, Sibling and Bundle discounts available In this class, students will delve into C++ programming through a structured 10-class curriculum designed to build their coding skills progressively. They will start with the basics of C++ such as comments, variables, data types, and arithmetic operators, and create a Mad-Libs style game to apply these concepts. As the weeks progress, students will explore more advanced topics like logic gates, looping, functions, arrays, vectors,...
10 lessons//2 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1C++ BasicsComments, Identifiers/Variables, Data Types, String Concatenation, Arithmetic Operators, Cin/Cout and C++ Program Formatting Make a program that runs a Mad-Libs style game, taking inputs and using them in a storyLesson 2Logic Gates and LoopingProject: Make a Random-Number Guessing Game, with a reusable menu and error-checkingLesson 3FunctionsProject: Make a calculator that uses functions to return a solution. Make sure to include all four basic operators in a ‘main’ function that contains a menu using a Switch statement, return statements to return a value, parameters that take the two inputs, and the statements to do the math. Finally, make the program reusableLesson 4Arrays and VectorsProject: Make a Sudoku Puzzle using Two-Dimensional Arrays. Include a menu to enter a number, remove a number, or restart the game. Make sure to prevent any inputs on cells that were initialized with a number, and make the program reusableLesson 5Searching and Sorting AlgorithmsProject: Make a leaderboard program that will sort the top ten high scores on a game, all of which are inputted by the user, along with the players that achieved that score. Then have an option to search for the high score or the player. Make sure the program is reusable.Week 2Lesson 6Pointers/Strings/C-StringsProject: Make a program that will separate a name (one string) into two separate strings containing a first and last name, separated by space. Append the full name onto one vector. Append first/last names onto two separate vectors. Make sure the program is reusable, and include an option on the menu to show all three vectors.Lesson 7Object Oriented ProgrammingProject: Make a stat page for Olympic Athletes using classes. Make all the variables in the classes private, and write functions to access them. Include as many stats as you want. In the main function, the stats should be held in a class-type vector, where each athlete is a new addition. Make a menu with options to add athletes, show stats, remove athletes. or exit the program. Make it reusableLesson 8Review and Final Project Intro/Workshop-Lesson 9Final Project Workshop-Lesson 10Final Project Workshop/Presentation-
- Students will learn the fundamentals of C++ programming, including variables, data types, loops, functions, arrays, and object-oriented programming through hands-on projects.

Dear Parents, Welcome to the Project-based C++ program. In this online live course, students will learn the most popular programming language for software engineering, data science, machine learning and AI. All lessons are project based and each lesson contains one fun project. All students will be asked to finish a final project with their own ideas which will be presented on the last day. There will be some quizzes for students to finish at home. Please read through this guidance before you enroll your children to our C++ class. To get started, please set up an account with https://replit.com , which we will be using both in and out of class for this course. Replit.com provides users with a hosted environment to practice coding and to build and deploy software and web servers, made available through our Service. (https://replit.com/site/terms) Unless you are a Teams for Education student user, when you create an account with us, you represent and warrant that you are above the age of 13, and that the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on the Service. Important notes: As per Outschool Policy: For the safety of all students, all cameras must be on during the entire class duration, or at least for the first few minutes of the class session in certain circumstances. Please mute your audio (keep video enabled) during the class session. For those that have never used Outschool before, please follow this link for some awesome preparation before our first class: https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/802757-how-to-prepare-for-your-first-class To join the class, please login to your Outschool account and click the scheduled session to get into the classroom, where you click “Join live meeting” to join the zoom classroom. There is no zoom link needed. If you have any questions/concerns please feel free to reach out through us on Outschool. We are beyond excited to have this opportunity to go on this amazing coding adventure with you all. Please come prepared and ready to learn for our first class, see you soon!
