1-2 horas por semana. Homework will reinforce study skills being taught.in each session. Participants will watch the video teaching lesson (approximately 40 minutes each) per session. Students will also read the accompanying posted materials per week from the eBook, " Get Good Grades in College" and other supplemental materials provided by the teacher. Students will also respond to weekly teacher-posted questions regarding each video lesson and complete a weekly learning journal. The learning journal will reinforce topical study skills. Students will correspondence with the teacher through email, posted class discussion and feedback on assignments. Students will receive feedback through the class discussion. Supplemental materials will also be posted in the Google Classroom. The code for entrance to the classroom will be provided by the instructor after the first class session.Evaluación

When these study skills are learned early, they make a big difference in school success. High school and middle school students should take this class to master college study skills. Students will learn the skills necessary to become A+ college students. Carter, a college English professor and homeschool guidance counselor with a post-graduate certificate in “College Admissions” from Columbia University guides students in the development of vital study skills to ensure college success. Participants will watch the video teaching lesson (approximately 20 minutes each video for a total of 40 minutes) per session. Students will also read the accompanying posted materials per week. Students will then respond to weekly teacher-posted questions regarding each video lesson and complete an interactive weekly learning journal. The learning journal will reinforce topical study skills. learning journals should be posted in the Outschool classroom where the for teacher and other learners may comment. Students will correspond with the teacher through email, posted class discussion and receive feedback on all assignments. Session 1 Students will learn how to have a positive mindset and how to set setting realistic academic goals Session 2 Students will learn how to manage their time and develop concentration skills. Session 3 Students will learn reading and note-taking skills.. Session 4 Students will learn how to manage college stress and successfully ace exams. Session 5 Students will learn some practical ways to enhance their learning and retention.. Session 6 Students will learn how to write a college research paper and memorize facts.
