🌟 New to Outschool? Use code CREATIVE20 to save $20 on this class! 🌟 In this self paced art course, students will learn to sculpt some of our favorite Studio Ghibli Anime Characters. Each lesson will have audio and video, broken down into step by step tutorials that I created for each character. The supplies are listed below and are necessary to complete the projects as shown. I will go over how to lacquer the clay after baking if the students want a professional, glossy finished look. There are no Live meetings. This class uses Nearpod. Students may post their work and share their knowledge of the topics we are working on via messages or video recordings. Supplies: Polymer Bake Clay in a variety of colors (white, black, grey, orange, green, purple, red) Basic Sculpting tools, cutting tool, dotting tool (for eye sockets) A non stick surface to work on A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay. You may use Black Glass seed beads for eyes, otherwise black clay OPTIONAL: Eye pins (to turn into charms before baking) About 1" of metal wire or 1/2 toothpick for leaf umbrella Tiny star shaped cookie cutter Clear water-based Polyurethane or glaze for after baking
