What will be taught? The class covers foundational skills in gymnastics and flexibility, focusing on stability, balance, coordination, dynamic strength, power, and full-body integration. Flexibility and stretching are also key elements, aimed at enhancing mobility, recovery, and endurance. Class Structure: The course spans four weeks with multiple lessons per week. Each week includes three main exercise videos focusing on gymnastics movements and one flexibility/stretching video to support mobility and recovery. Teaching Method: Instruction is provided through pre-recorded video lessons, combining visual demonstrations with verbal explanations. Each lesson emphasizes practical exercises to build essential skills step-by-step, promoting a hands-on, active learning approach. Teaching Style: The teaching style is supportive and instructional, guiding students through each exercise with attention to safety, proper technique, and gradual progression. The flexibility sessions focus on enhancing range of motion in a gentle, controlled manner. Learner Interaction: Interaction primarily occurs through video content, which learners can follow at their own pace. Since it's not a live class, direct interaction is limited, but there may be opportunities for learners to ask questions or share progress in a discussion forum or group (if offered). This structure allows students to work independently, while the videos provide clear guidance to help them develop core skills and flexibility for gymnastics.

Orientación para padres
Learners will do best in this class with adequate space. Please put away any breakable items and clear the area of objects learners may find hazardous such as toys. A water bottle and mat of some kind (yoga mat or gymnastics panel mat for example) is recommended but not required.

Kaz is a dedicated and passionate gymnastics coach with over a decade of experience. She began her coaching journey in 2009 and took her passion to the next level by opening Coach Kaz Gymnastics in 2012. Over the years, Kaz has expanded her business to online formats to share her love of gymnastics worldwide.
Kaz strives to make every session fun and active while fostering confidence, positive attitudes, and essential personal skills in her students. She believes that gymnastics is more than just a sport; it’s the foundation of human movement, providing the building blocks necessary for development in all sports. The fitness and life skills learned through gymnastics are tremendous, and Kaz is dedicated to showing her students that they can achieve anything they set their minds to with hard work and a positive attitude.
Kaz holds an associate's degree in Sports Exercise and Science from Amarillo College, where she gained hands-on experience teaching both children and adults about fitness and body movement. She furthered her education at West Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Psychology. This academic background provides Kaz with a deep understanding of how the mind and body work together, enhancing her ability to teach new skills effectively.
Kaz has taken numerous courses focused on teaching the foundations of gymnastics. Her commitment to continuing education and practical experience has made her an expert in her field. Kaz loves watching her students grow stronger and more confident with each new skill, knowing they have a solid foundation to build upon.
