Hey kids, are you ready to become the next Disney star? In our 12-week acting course, you'll have the chance to become a famous Disney character and star in your own scene from a popular Disney movie!

In each class, we'll start by picking our favorite scenes to work on together. You'll learn how to quickly develop characters and make strong choices by choosing obstacles for your character and assigning different tactics to overcome them. Plus, you'll get to work with a talent agent who will guide you in making your acting dreams come true! THIS IS LIKE A UNIVERSITY ACTING CLASS!

In our first class, we'll play some fun warm-up games to get to know each other and learn about each other's talents. You'll even get to play "1 Minute You" and "blind group counting," which are hilarious improvisation games.

Then in week two, we'll take a look at a few scenes together and learn how to do a professional "table read," which is just like what you do in real life when you've been cast in a role! Each student will be assigned a character and we'll discuss what the scene is about and what the character wants and objects.

From there, we'll spend the next few weeks developing our characters, drawing or making our character on Pinterest, and even dressing up like them. You'll learn important acting terminology and make adjustments to your scenes to see how different choices can change the character and relationships.

In the final weeks, we'll perform and perform some more! You'll get to work on putting alternate choices into your scenes and we'll perform with cameras rolling and a clapperboard. At the end of the course, you'll receive your final pieces, which can be used as part of your future reel!
